Company history

• 1992 : IRM (Idéale Résidence Mobile) is founded by Jean TESSIER, importer of English mobile homes. At that time, no mobile homes were made in France. That first year, IRM builds 200 mobile homes.
• 1996 : Opening of the 2nd factory in Luçon (West coast of France)
• 1998 : Opening of the 3rd factory in Beaucaire (South)
• 2002 : Opening of the 4th factory in Lesquin (North)
• 2007 : IRM joins the Bénéteau Group, world leader in the boat industry
• 2009 : Creation by IRM of a Trust Charter 
• 2010 : New visual identity : new logo and signature

4 factories, 2 showgrounds

IRM's head office is located in Luçon (Dept 85). IRM has 4 factories in France: 2 in Luçon, 1 in Lesquin (Dept 59) and 1 in Beaucaire (Dept 30). 2 showgrounds are open to the public, where you can come and discover our holiday homes: 1 in Luçon (Dept 85) and 1 in Villeneuve les Béziers (Dept 34).
